Priory and Cannon House Achieves BREEAM Excellent

The refurbishment of Priory and Cannon House in Birmingham City centre has been awarded BREEAM Excellent by the BRE.

EDCM acting as M&E Consultant, also provided sustainability and renewable advice for this major project in Birmingham. Alongside the refurbishment of the biggest open plan floor plate in the city centre, two additional new office space levels have been added.

Europe recognises Heat Pumps as Renewable Technology

On the 17th December 2008, the European Parliament announced that Heat Pump technology (aerothermal energy) was to be recognised as a renewable energy source. We believe that this decision will lead to wider recognition of the cost effective environmental benefits of heat pump technology.
