Boulevard Resource Centre starts on site..

The works at the new Boulevard Resource Centre in Blackburn have this week started on site. The project is being completed on behalf of local charity Blackburn with Darwen Community and Voluntry Service on the site of a former Public House in Blackburn City centre.

Blackburn College Ground Breaking Ceremony

A ceremony to mark the ground breaking for the construction of the new Core Building at Blackburn College campus was held this week. Local MP and college governor Jack Straw MP was in attendance to formally undertake the proceedings.

The new development will house the new curriculum areas for Creative Arts, Care, Public Services, Learner Support, Health and Childhood Studies, as well as the main Registry and LRC for the college toggether with catering facilities.

Parkgate Residential Development Complete

The completion of the Parkgate residential development in the Oakwood area of Leeds was acheived this week. The added bonus for the developer being that half of the apartments had been let pre-completion. The development was assisted by EDCM providing the Mechanical and Electrical detailed designs, as well as production of the Energy Performance Certificates upon completion.
