Priory & Cannon acheives BREEAM Excellent
The refurbishment of Priory and Cannon House in Birmingham city centre has been awarded BREEAM Excellent accreditation from the BRE. EDCM, acting as M&E consultant, also provided sustainability and renewable advice for this major project in Birmingham. Alongside the refurbishment of the biggest open plan floor plate in the city centre, two additional office space levels have been added.

Europe recognises Heat Pumps
On the 17th December 2008, the European Parliament announced that Heat Pump technology (aerothermal energy) was to be recognised as a renewable energy source. We beleive that this decision will lead to wider recognition of the cost effective environmental benefits of heat pump technology.

Smart Co2 Savings
The EDCM Smart pool car used by the Wakefield office since 2006 has on average reduced the companies Carbon footprint by some 2.79 tonnes of carbon per year.
